Hi Annie,
no luck on the lottery yet!

I love lists:

Strawberry Jam
The Godfather (Pulp Fiction is second)
I don't buy magazines, but if I did, Country Homes
I'm not into Poetry, can't think of a single one I like!
Easter Candy - I think this may be an American thing, we have choclate easter eggs (hollow) about eight inches high.
Andy Garcia
Without a doubt - Meryl Streep
Scotch Eggs (cold boiled eggs, covered with sausage meat, then breadcrumbs - browned) Do you have them?
No idea about gemstones, although I've heard of Ruby, Tigers Eye and Amythests.
August - Summer over here, good weather, oldest lads birthday and wedding anniversary on same day, wife's birthday and the month we always go on holiday. We have Bank Holidays in the Uk, traditionally approx 5-7 days a year (weekdays) when the Banks would be closed. There's always one at the end of August so we usually take the week before so we can extend the holiday. But lately the football season has started in last week in August and so we don't do that any more.
Scots Pine - do you have those? I like ww, we passed my birth home today, there was and still is one at the end of the garden.
Strip Jack Naked!
Scrabble (or Monopoly)
White wine with ice!

That was great, I think I'll do my own.

I'm a bit surprised I can't think of a single poet I like, I seem to remember a poet maybe called Arden who was writing during World War 1, that I've heard in the past.

Keep Blogging

Hi Ian,
No luck on the lottery here either. It was up to 220 million dollars here.
Those scotch eggs sound yummy, but more like something for breakfast here.
We have those bank holidays, called Federal Holidays about 6 of them when most people get Monday off work, makes for a nice long weekend.
July is my birth month.
Strip Jack Naked, sounds a bit naughty..LOL is that like strip poker?
I'd love to play a game of scrabble with you. I'd love to answer one of your polls.

Take Care,

Annie

Hi Annie,
Strip Jack Naked, is also called Beggar My Neighbour, which sounds worse, but it's a game in which you deal the cards out equally, alternatively place a card face up and whenever a queen turns up for instance, the next player has to put two cards down, if no picture cards turn up the player who played the queen gets the pile. All the picture cards count Ace is 4, king 3, queen 2, jack 1, so if you play a jack the next player has to put a single card down. I hope that explains.

I'll think of a poll and let you have it

I'll answer for Corrin,Ian. Reeses's
are chocolate covered peanutbutter candy...so rich and yummy they make egg shaped ones for Easter. A fuzzy Navel is a drink made with peach schaaps liqour and orange juice. Also yummy.

Cheers.

Hi Annie,
we should get a batch of English/American candy/treats etc and swap food parcels!

We used to have a chocolate bar called Marathon, about 10 years ago they renamed it Snickers!

Do you have Bounty's - milk or dark chocolate covered coconut bars.
What about Mars Bars - caramel covered in milk chocolate.

Do you call it Dark and milk chocolate?

Ian
