Work It Out

Women's Work Out.

First the good news:
When researchers from the University of South Carolina reviewed the exercise patterns of women over 40, they found most were getting the recommended amount of exercise to stay healthy, says a report in the Journal of Women's Health and Gender Based Medicine.

Now, the bad news: Ninety-five percent of those women got their exercise by doing household chores. While 65 percent were doing work considered physical exercise, fewer than 25 percent did any exercise that could be classified as recreation. Fifty-three percent were getting a workout by taking care of children, and fifty-one percent kept fit by working on the lawn.
