27 Years

Twenty-seven years ago on this date , March 29, 1980 I was married.
The marriage lasted ten years, but I got two beautiful children from the union.
Not to mention the life lessons learned along the way.
My how time flies and things change.
I wonder if my ex though about us today.
When I hark back I get filled with so many memories and emotions.
Life teaches us to accept the good, the bad and the ugly.
Wonder what, or if, I'll be thinking about in twenty-seven more years.
